Construction of the Front of CD DigiPak

Firstly I auto adjusted the exposure to the image on PicMonkey, to make the lighting correct.

I then cropped the image into a square shape so it would fit the front cover appropriately.

I then added the sweethearts filter onto the image, to create a dull affect, but make the colours and the artist stand out more.

I then put the image into AdobePhotoShop, and put the size into 4.75 inches, so it was the correct size for the CD cover.

I then used the magic wand tool to select the background.

I then used the curves tool to b=make the background darker, to make the artists stand out more.

I then once again got the brightness tool and lowered the brightness to allow the background darker than the artists.

I then placed the 'Jayla' font onto the image using layers.

After adding the 'Jayla' font I then added the 'Meet Me Half Way' font, by once again using layers.

After I put the texts into the correct places and made the larger or smaller to look appropriately on the image.

This is the final product, once I had finished creating and editing it.

Experimentation with PicMonkey

To create an idea of how I want to edit my images I selected one of my favourite images and used a selection of different filters to experiment. This helped me decide how I was going to edit my images, as it gave me an idea of how the images look with these selection of filters.

Photo Shoot

As there are 134 images I have not uploaded all of them, only my 20 favourite images. Out of these images I will select my favourite and most appropriate ones to use for my ancillary tasks, as some of them will not work for my ancillary's tasks.

Construction of Music Video

This is the first step I took for creating my music video after setting up the software 'AdobePremierePro'; in the screen shot above it shows how I added the music to the program, so I can add the videos to the correct place of the song, to make sure the lip sync is correct.

This screen shot shows how I select certain videos to add to the program, so I can edit and place in the right place. As you can see I have the videos in certain folders so I can find the videos easily, I have a certain folder for Jamie and Tayla, then one just for Tayla and one just for Jamie.

In this print screen it shows the video I have selected uploading to AdobePremierePro; this is so I can add the videos to the program. to sort them out and apply certain affects and edits.

This screen shot shows how I have edited this certain clip of the video. I had decided to make Jamie's faces two different shades to add an affect, to do this I added the video once and made the image black and white, then I added the same video clip again over top, changed the opacity so you could see both images, then added a different filter to it called multiply to make a darker black and white feel to it. Then I edited the second video again by cutting the image to the right by halfway so you could see both shots. After doing this I had to make sure that the lip sync was perfect so that both mouths moved at the same time, otherwise the effect wouldn't work.
