Final Ancillary Tasks
These are my two final ancillary task; I created a CD DigiPak and a Magazine Advert. To make them authentic I did a lot of research behind each product, and kept the theme the same in both products.

FeedBack on Ancillary Tasks
To receive feedback on my ancillary tasks I sent the images out on Whatsapp to six contacts. With the feedback I received it has helped me understand what my target audience like and dislike about my products. This helped me with the final decisions on whether to re-edit my final products. In the end I decided that overall there was mainly positive feedback, so I decided to keep my products the same, as they suited my target audience well.
Final Music Video
This is my final draft of my music video, completed with editing techniques and a variety of different shots. I uploaded the video onto YouTube, I will now start gathering feedback.
FeedBack;
I mainly received feedback by getting people to watch my video, then tell me what they liked and disliked; you can see this below.
Emily; Emily likes how at the beginning the name of the artists and the song name fades into the screen before the music video actually starts. She also likes the editing of slowing down some of the shots, to make the more dramatic.
Jane; Jane's likes how many different editing techniques I use throughout the video, her favourite is the split screen shot of the male actor, and how it gradually zooms into his mouth. She also like how I've used black and white shots to represent the sadness and loneliness of the artists.
Kim; She likes how well the artists work together and how you can feel the emotions that they represent throughout the video. She also likes how at the end it fades from scene to scene, with a slight gap in between to add affect. However she felt I could've added more of a variety of different shots of the female artist.
Chris; Chris likes how many different shots I used throughout the video, he likes how well the artists have tried and represented the story line. He also likes how much the artists put across their emotions throughout the video.
However I did receive some feedback on YouTube; shown below.

Second Draft
This is the second draft of my music video.
Feedback;
Susan - Susan felt that the song was catchy, and I used good actors for the video. She also liked the way that the actors sung straight to camera. Susan also felt that the actors presented good chemistry between each other. However she felt that there are too many black shots.
Georgia - Georgia liked the chosen actors, as she felt they put a lot of effort into putting across the storyline and representing their emotions. She liked the variation of shots I have used throughout the video, although I have used them too many time.
Hayley - Liked how many different videos, locations, and outfit changes I have put into my video. She also liked how well I represented the story line. However she felt that I repeated some shots too often, and there was too long a gap at the beginning.

First Draft
This is my first draft of my music video, as you can see it is not finished and still has clips in the wrong places.
Mikey; Mikey liked how at the beginning it fades into the first scene, he also liked how the artists work well together and the split screen shot of just the male artists. He also said that it needed more scenes because obviously it is quite empty.
Hannah; She likes how well the actors work together, however she feels we can't see their expressions well when they in front of the black screen. She also like hows there are a variation of different outfits throughout the video.
Claire; Claire enjoyed how there are a variation of different scenes and how I haven't just focused on one artist. She also felt that there needed to be more scenes because it is not finished yet.

Construction of Magazine Advert
Firstly after selecting the image I was going to use for the magazine advertisement, I went onto PicMonkey and auto adjusted the exposure of the image.
I then added the sweethearts affect to make sure it matched the CD DigiPaks.
I then added the photo onto AdobePhotoShop, then used the magic wand tool to select the background.
I then used the brightness tool to make the background darker than the artists so they stand out more.
I then added a box over top of the bottom half of my artists to allow the writing to be seen easier, and made it a similar colour to the background. I then added the companies logos and the 'Meet Me Half Way' font.
I then added more fonts and logos to the image, but had not placed them in the correct placements yet.
I had now placed them into the correct places and adjusted sizes so they all fit.
I then added more information onto the magazine advert and placed the into the correct places.
This is the final product after editing and placing the text and images into the correct places.
After re-looking at my magazine advertisement, I decided that my magazine advert was too crowded, and even though it has the same text, editing techniques as the CD DigiPak I don't feel as though it keeps to the same theme. I want them to both be the same theme and look similar to the CD DigiPak, as I feel continuity is important for the magazine advert and the CD DigiPak.
I selected a different image that I thought would work better, I then once again fixed the exposure on PicMonkey.
I then once again added the sweethearts filter to keep with the theme of the rest of my products.
I then added the photo onto AdobePhotoShop and used the magic wand tool to select the background.
I then used the brightness tool to make the background darker.
After adding a selection of different fonts, logos and images, I decide to add two boxes the same colour as the background and lower the opacity so it was see through.
I then placed all the boxes into the correct places and started laying out the fonts and logos.
I then had all the fonts, images and logos into the correct places into the correct sizes.
I decided to change the colour of the bottom font as it didn't seem to look right.
This is my second final magazine advert, I prefer this magazine advert a lot more than the first one as it is less crowded, easier to read, sticks to the theme of the CD DigiPak.
Construction of Song Sheet for CD DigiPak
Firstly I adjusted the exposure of the picture on PicMonkey.
I then cropped the image into a square shape making sure there was a large gap big enough to fit the lyrics of the song.
I then added the sweet hearts filter to once again follow the continuity of the other images.
I then placed the image into AdobePhotoShop, and used the magic wand tool to select the background.
I then used the brightness tool to make the background darker than the artists.
I then added the 'Meet Me Half Way' font, by adding it into the layers box, and placing it in the appropriate place.
I then got the lyric up on Google so I could type the lyrics onto the page. I also made sure all the lyrics were correct and didn't have any spelling mistakes.
I then made sure the lyrics didn't cover, the artists and were the correct size so there was enough room and the audience could also read it.
This is my final product of the song sheet page, I tried to make sure that all the conventions were followed throughout the process of making this.
Construction of Back Cover for CD DigiPak
Firstly I auto adjusted the exposure on PicMonkey to make the lighting correct.
I then added the sweethearts affect to keep with the continuity of the rest of the images.
I then cropped the image into a square shape to fit the dimensions of a CD back cover.
I then used the magic wand tool to select the background.
I then used the brightness tool to darken the background to make the artistes stand out more.
I then placed the bar code onto the image through the layers box, and put it in the appropriate place. I decide to put it in the top right corner because other real media product had done this and also I didn't want to cover up my artists.
I then added all the fonts of the different song titles onto the page through the layers box.
I then placed all the layers into the appropriate places, making the white font in front of the female artist so it was easier to read and the black font in front of the male artist.
I then added the company logos onto the back cover through the layers box.
After looking at real media products I noticed that they all had a copyright section next to the company logos, I decided to do the same to make sure my product was realistic as possible.
I then put all the attachments into the appropriate places so you could still focus on the artists.
This is my final product of the back cover, I'm happy with the outcome because I have followed the conventions of real media products.
Construction of Spine for CD DigiPak
Firstly I added the correct dimesions for a spine, to ensure that it would fit the rest of my magazine. In inches width was 0.3879 and height was 4.25.
I then adjusted the colour for the background.
I then placed the font 'Meet Me Half Way' font in the layers box.
I then placed the font 'Jayla' font in the layers box as well.
I then adjusted the sizes and placed the font in the correct places.
This is the final product of the spine, I have kept it simple, because after looking at real media products I noticed that they were also simple, and I wanted my to be as realistic as possible.
